The Interest Of Foreign Investors In Russia Grew to a Maximum Level Over the Past 8-12 Months

The interest of foreign investors in Russia grew to a maximum level over the past 8-12 months. Against this background, the likelihood of increasing the country’s sovereign credit rating is growing. This was stated by the Director of the “Financial Institutions Ratings” Division of S & P Boris Kopeikin.

“There has been no such interest in what is happening in Russia for several years” - he said. “Despite the fluctuations in oil prices, the impact of sanctions, the country remains a part of the global economy. We stay interesting for the entire world. People can work here” – Kopeikin added. The potential for increasing Russia’s sovereign credit rating by S & P is estimated at 30 percent, as he reported.
