The volume of the Reserve Fund amounted to 987.27 billion roubles (16.71 billion dollars) as of July 1, having increased by six percent since the beginning of the year. The National Welfare Fund has grown by five percent and amounted to 4.386 trillion roubles (74.22 billion dollars).

      The income from placement of the money of the Reserve Fund on foreign currency accounts of the Bank of Russia amounted to four million dollars since the beginning of the year. Currency exchange difference from revaluation of balances reached 15.14 billion roubles.

      The placements of the money of the National Welfare Fund brought a loss of 10 million dollars. Currency exchange difference from revaluation of the fund’s investments totaled 31.87 billion roubles. The accumulated income from the investments in allowable financial assets by NWF amounted to 30.24 billion roubles.
