Season Of Fountains Opens In Moscow

Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin decided to open  a new season of fountains after the winter break in the capital on April 29. 

According to the deputy mayor of Moscow, Pyotr Biryukov, the Gromost and prefectures of administrative districts are currently completing the repair and preparation for the launch of urban fountains.

      In total, there are about 600 fountains, swimming pools and other water devices in Moscow.

      Among the most popular are fountains on the territory of VDNKh, a fountain complex on Manezhnaya Square and Poklonnaya Hill, fountains in Gorky Park, a light-dynamic fountain in the Tsaritsyno Museum-Reserve, and many others.
