The Best Russian Actors of 2016 Announced

The Association of Film and Television Producers has granted awards to the best Russian actors and films following the results of broadcasting year 2016.

      Mikhail Yefremov is the best television actor and Maria Aronova is the best TV actress. The Drunken Company is the best TV film whereas Major, Detective Anna and Olga are the best TV series.

      Scriptwriters of Olga have also been awarded, as well as Alexander Tsekalo, the producer of the movie Locusts.

      The award ceremony took place in the Izvestia Hall, Moscow.
