About 36 Percent Of Russians Have Savings

About 36 percent of Russians have savings on banks deposits, in securities and cash. This is evidenced by the results of a poll conducted by the National Agency of Financial Research (NAFR).

      The average amount of savings at the disposal of Russians amounts to 130 547 roubles. The amount of savings that would make the respondents feel stable and safe averaged 491 617 roubles, the maximum amount being four million dollars, the minimum one - 20 thousand roubles. The most common way for placing their funds for Russians is opening an account with Sberbank and depositing money on it, 48 percent of all who have savings do this, according to the materials of NAFR.
