Rosturizm supports and considers it important to establish a Tourist Association of Russia's regions, Deputy Head of Rosturizm, Nikolai Korolev, said on Wednesday. He stressed that the department paid special attention to the regions that develop and support the touristic industry. During the meeting, the Deputy Chairman of the Federation Council, Galina Karelova, noted that nine regions were ready to become founders of the association. These are the Altai Region, the Khabarovsk Region, the Republics of Tuva, Ingushetia, Dagestan, Sakha (Yakutia), Tver, Ulyanovsk and Orel regions. She added that the idea of ​​creating such an association was supported by 40 constituent entities of the Russian Federation.
