Turkish Antalya in January and February 2017 was visited by 27.1 thousand Russian tourists, which is almost 20 times more than during the same period a year earlier.

      Compared with the sharp decline in 2016, the tourist flow in winter months has increased. In January and February, the number of Russian tourists reached 27.1 thousand people, whereas a year earlier there were only 1.4 thousand tourists. In February 2016, Antalya was visited by only 360 Russians, in 2017 this figure increased by 35 times and reached 12,7 thousand people. The most popular destinations for Russians are Alanya, Side and Kemer, where the discounts for hotels reach 50% according to Turkish media.
