Almost 900 thousand of Russian tourists have come in Greece in the year 2016, which is 30 percent more than a year earlier, as the representative of the Greek National Tourist Association George Mavromatis reported. “The overall growth in the numbers of tourists coming from Russia to Greece amounted to 30 percent at the year-end, as compared to the year 2015, we approached the indicator of 900 thousand people” - Mavromatis said at the Conference “Spring-Summer-2017” organized by the tour operators “Coral Travel” and “Sunmar”.

      The most popular destination among Russians in 2016 was Crete, it received 42 percents of tourists. Approximately 20 percent of Russians choose Rhodes, more than 3 percent come to Kos, as he specified.
