The study results have been published in the scientific Journal of Biomedical Materials Research.

      Specialists from the Siberian Federal University have developed a special system that will enable biotechnologists to quickly restore human skull bones after injuries. This technology will make it possible for bones to close up in just four months.

      According to the scientific research leader Ekaterina Shishatskaya, the results open up totally new opportunities for the world science to solve the frequent problem of restorative osteoplasty, that is, the replacement of bone tissue.

      According to Russian scientists, the results of their research in using polymers know no equals in the world and this method is the best and most effective for restoring human skull  bones.
