Heat In Central Russia Meteorologists Expect Fires And Health Deterioration

Weather men expect sharp increase of forest and peat-bog fires due to heat in Central Russia. One burning cigarette or an unattended fire is enough to set a forest on fire in such hot and dry weather.

Meteorologists predict stable temperatures around 30 degrees C would be detected for several following years. Temperature on June 22-23 is expected to reach its maximum in the afternoon 30-32 degrees Centigrade.

Hard times start for old and sick people overheated air under conditions of high atmospheric pressure lacks oxygen, thus in the afternoon weather hypoxia will be observed in the north-west of the European part of Russia and in the territories with moderate climate.

Those with unstable vascular response suffer from heat very much. They will most likely have headaches, dizziness, hypotonia and blood pressure jumps. Those with cardiac and pulmonary insufficiency, coronary heart disease and metabolic disorders diabetes and obesity will feel bad too. Such weather is extremely dangerous for old people with weak cardio-vascular system.

Heat and weak wind lead to ecological problems in many big cities. Air contamination together with blooming of trees may intensify allergic reactions and aggravate bronchial asthma.

In Moscow industrial enterprises were recommended to reduce emissions to the atmosphere.
