“Souyz-U” booster with “Resurs-DK1” spaceship was recently launched from Baikonur launching site.
“Resurs-DK1” spaceship was developed and made in “Progress” central special design bureau. This ship is designed for multizone remote sensing of Earth’s surface – it performs multispectral Earth’s survey with 1 m maximum resolution.
“Resurs-DK1” also carries two equipment sets – “Pamela” and “Arina”. “Pamela” is made in Italy for studying hidden matter – antibodies, dispersed in near-earth space – such studies will be performed for the first time ever. Russian “Arina” unit will help to predict earthquakes.
