The 5th St. Petersburg International Cultural Forum will be held in the Headquarters of the State Hermitage and the Russian Ethnography Museum from December 1 to 3.
20 Ministers of Culture will participate in the St. Petersburg International Cultural Forum, the Vice-Governor of St. Petersburg, Vladimir Kirillov reported at the recent press conference.
"Participation in the forum has been confirmed by 38 delegations from foreign states, with 20 of them headed by the culture ministers of those countries", - Mr. Kirillov informed. In total, there will be more than 100 foreign participants at the forum.
The key topics of the forum this year will be the transition from the Year of Russian Cinema to the Year of Ecology, the 125th anniversary of composer Sergei Prokofiev, and the 25th anniversary of the CIS.
