Julia Shvabauskene, Deputy Head of the Rosselkhoznadzor, participated in the meeting with Ali Ghanbari, Deputy Minister, Ministry of Jihad —e-Agriculture of the Islamic Republic of Iran, held within the II World Grain Forum headed by Yevgeny Gromyko, Deputy Minister of Agriculture of the Russian Federation.

During the meeting the parties noted that the share of agricultural and food products in the total volume of trade turnover between two countries was more than 50%. Thereat, in 2015 90% of Russian exports to Iran were grains and grain legumes and more than 90% of Russian imports from Iran were vegetables and fruit.
