Fidel Castro Might Be Set in Stone in Moscow

The perennial symbol of freedom and revolution has passed away.

Public figures in Russia and all around the world expressed their condolences to Cuba about the death of the legend, who had altered the course of world history at a very young age.

Now Moscow authorities are thinking to set up a monument to Comandante.

"We will be glad to consider such offers at the meeting of our committee. A special place should be selected for the monument to this outstanding figure. After all Fidel Castro repeatedly visited Moscow and millions of people here remember him as big friend of this country" - the chairman of the Moscow City Duma on monumental construction, Igor Voznesensky said.

The funeral of Fidel Castro will take place on December 4.
