"Gods and Heroes of Ancient Greece" Got Around to Moscow

Exhibition of world values in the Moscow State History Museum is held in the framework of the Russian - Greek Bilateral Year.

      According to the Minister of Cultural Affairs of the Russian Federation, Vladimir Medinsky, the event is the token of this cooperation year.

      World famous exhibits, as well as artifacts, which have never left the territory of Hellas before are presented at the exposition Gods and Heroes of Ancient Greece.

      Visitors will see more than 130 various works of art, including sculptures, ceramics, metal wares, and coins. The values have been temporarily provided to Moscow by the well-known museums of Greece, such as the National Archaeological Museum in Athens, the Acropolis Museum, the Museum of Ancient Agora, the Epigraphic and Numismatic Museum, the The Museum of Cycladic Art, the Archaeological Museum of Thessaloniki, and the Archaeological Museum of Dion.

      The exhibition runs till February 15, 2017.
