Modern Art Exhibition "Actual Russia: Habitat" in Moscow

The State Contemporary Russian History Museum has opened the exhibition today.

      The Actual Russia project features the "habitat" of artists from all over this country as well as the reflection of surrounding community in all sorts of modern art, from painting to videoart.

      The exposition pesents works by over 60 artists, including cutting-edge creations by famous modern masters from museum and private collections.

      The nature and technologies, history and the present time in works created by recognized artists (Sergey Geta, Alexander Dashevsky, Rinat Voligamsi, Igor Pestov, Pavel Pepperstein, etc.) and aspiring authors (Azat Basyrov, Ilya Fedotov-Fedorov, Ustina Yakovleva, etc.) in the recent 5 years will continue the museum's fresh permanent exposition on the history of Russia of the 1990s - 2000s.
