“Rosneft” has signed a number of documents involving the expansion of cooperation with the Indonesian Pertamina, according to the press service of the Russian oil company. In particular, the parties agreed to establish a joint venture for the construction of the refinery and petrochemical complex Tuban in eastern Java.

      It is planned that the design capacity of primary processing of the complex will reach 15 million tons per year. The raw materials used will be imported medium and heavy sulfur grades of oil. The project includes the construction of a large catalytic oil unit and a petrochemical complex. It is assumed that the complex will be able to take supertankers with deadweight up to 300 thousand tons.
