Average income of Russians amounted to 30,912 roubles in August. As compared with October 2014 (it was the last month of growth), it fell by 12 percent. This is stated in the monitoring published by the Higher School of Economics (HSE).

      “In real terms, this [income in August] corresponds to 91.7 percent of the income in August 2015 and 86.8 percent of the level of August 2014” – the message stated. Average salary in Russia in August amounted to 34 095 roubles, which is 99 percent of the same period last year and 90 percent of August 2014, according to the materials of HSE.
