The money of the Russian Reserve Fund may be used up already in 2016 or early 2017. This was reported to TASS by a source close to the Finance Ministry. According to the expert, the money may run out before the end of this year if the privatization prepared by the government is not implemented in the planned volume.

      The interlocutor of the agency also did not exclude that money from the National Welfare Fund (NWF) would be spent in 2017. “The government did not refuse to do it” - he said. In addition, the source noted that the privatization of “Rosneft” was likely to take place in 2016, and the stock of shares of “Bashneft” was unlikely to be sold until the end of 2016.
