The price of oil at $ 40 per barrel should be the basis of the formation of the Russian budget in the coming years, but in 20 years it is advisable to reduce this figure to $ 20.
This opinion was expressed by the former Minister of Finance of Russia, Head of the Centre for Strategic Research Aleksei Kudrin on Friday, September 16, according to TASS. “We are talking about permanent prices. I would include $ 40 [per barrel], then gradually transfer to $ 20 in current fixed prices over next 20 years” - Kudrin said.
