The Ostankinsky Court of Moscow has sustained the claim of the Head of “Rosneft” Igor Sechin to the “Vedomost” newspaper and ordered the publication to delete the article about his house in Barvikha, as RIA Novosti reported.
The court has acknowledged that the material titled “Sechin Is Building a Nest in Barvikha” violated the right of the Head of “Rosneft” to privacy. The article claimed that Sechin was building a country house on Rublevskoe Highway. In addition to the deletion of the material from the website, as the mass media say, the publication must destroy the remnants of the newspaper circulation as of July 20 with the material. The plaintiff’s representatives in court insisted that the journalists had violated the constitutional rights of Sechin - divulged information about his family, disclosed personal and property relations with his ex-wife, as well as the present and the future place of residence of his children.
