The contract for the sale of 24.9 percent of shares of the Pulkovo Airport to the investors from Qatar has been signed. This was reported by the Head of VTB Bank (owning a half stake of the airport management company) Andrey Kostin.

“We sell 24.99 percent of the Pulkovo airport to our Qatari investors, the deal has been signed, but there is a suspensive condition, there is a [government] commission on foreign investment that must approve the entry of Qatar into this deal” – Kostin said. He added that the Commission would consider the sale of shares of the Airport to a foreign investor in September. “The preliminary contact with the members of the Commission shows that the decision must be positive” - the Head of VTB noted.
