Sberbank Will Be More Convenient to Visually Impaired And Blind Users

Sberbank and the All-Russia Association of the Blind have created special technology for the bank’s ATMs, which aims to assist visually impaired and blind users. Also the decision has been made to equip all new Sberbank ATMs with headphone ports for visually impaired and deaf people.

The technology works in the following way: the client connects a headphone to the ATM. This activates a special service scenario, which includes voice support, a high-contrast interface, and the ability to use both the screen and the PIN pad. The client can control the volume and select a convenient background upon which information is displayed.

The technology can already be found in all Sberbank self-service devices with headphone ports. In the future all new Sberbank ATMs will be equipped with headphone ports.
