Low labor productivity is one of the most serious brakes of economic growth. The government will focus its resources on its growth. This was stated by the Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev on Thursday, as RIA Novosti reported.

      “The Council under the President emphasized the increase in labor productivity as a separate direction, a separate priority. Alongside with other things, we will focus on financial, administrative, managerial resources on this issue” - Medvedev said at a government meeting. He recalled that the plan of measures aimed at increasing labor productivity, creating high-performance workplaces had been in action since 2014.
