Andrey Tarkovsky's Photos to Be Put up for Auction in London

A considerable part of these rare photos is connected with his work on the film Nostalgia in Italy.


      The collection of Polaroid pictures taken by the legendary Soviet film director Andrey Tarkovsky (1932-1986) will be put up for sale in the Bonhams auction house of  London.


      The pictures cover the period from 1979 to 1984. Some of them are signed by Andrey Tarkovsky personally.


      The collection numbering 257 photos is divided into 29 lots. One of them has already been presented on the website of the London auction house. The lot of ten photos has he posted price of $35-48 thousand.


      The biddings will take place on October 6, 2016.
