San Marino Wants To Increase Trade With Russia

The Republic of San Marino may participate in the Russian program of import substitution. This was stated by the Russian Ambassador to Italy and San Marino Sergei Razov, as TASS reports. “We suggest that the entrepreneurs from San Marino should think about the possibilities of localization of production in Russia. The most far-sighted entrepreneurs in many countries follow this route” - the Ambassador said.

He said that San Marino already exported meat and dairy products not subject to the embargo to Russia. According to Razov, the political climate in the relations between Russia and the West has become more complicated in recent years. However, San Marino stays one of those who have independent political will, common sense, diplomatic foresight and maintains good relations with Russia, he stressed.
