Reduction of prices of petrol has been forecast today by the deputy head of Ministry of Economy and Trade development Andrey Sharonov at the sitting of the budget committee of State Duma.
This is caused by the end of summer season and seasonal cooling-off in consumer demand. Till date the growth of domestic price of petrol has been about three times ahead of the inflation growth.
Recently a 22 per cent growth of prices has been observed. Among the reasons for it Mr. Sharonov pointed the high monopolization of petrol market. According to other experts the growth of petrol prices is related to high oil prices on the worlds market.
