Transport speeds up as Moscow introduces new rail routes to Domodedovo International Airport, south-east of Moscow. Until now, you could reach it via a commuter train from Paveletsky Railway Station.
You don't need to travel by underground anymore. The so-called Square of Three Termini, which include Yaroslavsky, Kazansky, and Leningradsky Termini, is another point where you can start your trip to Domodedovo. Just round the corner lies the track leading from Kalanchyovskaya Station through Kursky Railway Station straight to the airport.
Initially, there will be just three trains a day, and later they will run every hour. You can also check in at the gate and leave your baggage there. The trip lasts just one hour and costs 120 roubles.
This is another move to make transportation for tourists easier. Not long ago, the city opened a route between Kievsky Railway Station and Vnukovo Airport and between Savyolovsky Railway Station and Sheremetyevo Airport.
