The sales of air tickets have reduced by 60 percent during holidays and the sales of railway tickets fell by 16 percent, as compared to the end of April 2015. It is reported by TASS with a reference to research by kassa.yandex.ru.

      The average cost of a travel has grown by 11 and 5 percent, respectively. The average price of an air ticket has reached 9.3 thousand roubles, of a railway ticket – 3.2 thousand roubles. Russian citizens chose Belarus, Ukraine, Moldova, Kazakhstan, Turkey, Spain, Italy and the United States for their trips abroad during May holidays. During March holidays the travel geography of Russians was much narrower - they often went to Belarus, Ukraine, Moldavia and Latvia.
