In January - March 2016 Russia was visited by almost 50% more of Chinese visa-free tourists than last year as a part of groups, as reported by the press service of the Tourist Association "The World without Borders" to the Interfax-Tourism portal.

      According to the data of association the entry flow of tourists is increased by 47% in the first quarter of 2016 compared to the same period last year under the agreement on visa-free group tours from China to Russia. Totally Russia was visited by over 35 thousand of Chinese tourists.

      The leader by the reception of visa-free travelers is Moscow, it is visited by more than 14 thousand of Chinese. Primorsky area is visited by almost 10 thousand of  tourists, while their number is increased by 82% compared to last year. The third most popular region became the Amur region, which was visited by more than 7 thousand of Chinese tourists.
