A new tourist route "Russian manors in the turn of the centuries" in the Tambov region was praised by the experts of the Association of Tour Operators of Russia (ATOR) and recommended for sales, the head of the regional department of culture Yuri Golubev said on Thursday during the press conference. According to him, the three-day route with the length of 368 km passes through Tambov – the manor of Sergei Rachmaninoff in Ivanovka (Uvarovsky area) and Michurinsk.
The tour includes a visit to several manors: of merchant Mikhail Aseev, of Chicherins family, of Alexander Gerasimov, the artist of memorial houses, of Ivan Michurin, the plant breeder. Moreover the tour includes the touristic trips to the sights of Tambov and Michurinsk. Three Tambov projects obtained a rather high score within the framework of event tourism. Aseev Manor, Chernozem Rock Festival and traditional Russian games Atamanovskiye Kulachki received Grand Prix Awards of Russian Event Awards-2015.
