According to the data as of April 1, 2016, wage arrears in Russia reached 4.47 billion roubles. It increased by 35.4 percent during the month. This information is contained in the materials of the Federal Statistics Service.

      A large part of the debt (3.72 billion) arose due to the lack of own funds of employers. The greatest amount of arrears is observed in the manufacturing sector (1.57 billion roubles). Another 1.10 billion - in the transport sector, 1.02 billion - in construction, 213 million - in the mining sector, 188 million roubles - in agriculture, 150 million - in science.
