Metallurg Magnitogorsk grabs Russia’s Gagarin Cup in a fierce battle against CSKA Moscow, leading twice in the seventh match of the playoff finals.

Metallurg's Evgeny Timkin scored twice, in the first and third periods, while Chris Lee put the Siberian team ahead once again in the second period after an equalizer by Maksim Mamin. Metallurg's captain Sergey Mozyakin has been crowned as the MVP of the playoff games, becoming the top scorer.

It's Metallurg's second Gagarin Cup while CSKA Moscow's trophy shelf remains empty.

The playoff has drawn huge attention from TV audiences thanks to the thrilling performance on the ice.
