Russia Cannot Find Money For Further Increasing Of Pensions

Russia cannot find money for further increasing of pensions. This was reported by the financial ombudsman Pavel Medvedev in an interview to “Russian news service”. According to him, “you can’t find extra money if your economy doesn’t work”.

Medvedev also stated that he is worried about the fuss around the possible increase of pension age since this problem isn’t the most important in Russian economy today. This topic is brought up every now and then by economic block members of the parliament. Thus the minister of economic development Alexey Ulyukaev on the 22nd of March said that this problem will be brought up very seriously in the end of 2016.
