The exit from dry hunger strike has brought serious consequences to Nadezhda Savchenko. This was told by her lawyer Nikolay Polozov in his Facebook. According to him, Savchenko vomited the water she tried to drink. “In addition, the state of her already damaged health is getting worse. The old problem with kidney stones is showing, it is also aggravated by stress to the body inflicted by hunger (especially dry one)” – the lawyer said.

Polozov noted that Savchenko had fever that would not cease for several days. According to the lawyer’s words, this is a sign of, at least, a serious inflammation of internal organs. The lawyer stressed that Savchenko needed an urgent medical examination. However, he said that the defendant did not let Russian doctors examine her, and the court did not give permission for the visit of Ukrainian doctors.
