European airlines have been issued a go-head to fly over Crimea, says The Wall Street Journal.
According to the report, EASA, the European aviation safety watchdog, admitted that the risks following Crimea’s re-integration into Russia have decreased, and it means the European passenger jets could resume their flights along two routes over the Simferopol district.
The flights will be monitored by Ukrainian air controllers since the EU continues to view Crimea as part of Ukraine’s jurisdiction.
