Head of the Moscow Department of Natural Resources Management Anton Kulbachevsky attended the opening of a new interactive exhibition at the “Vorobyovy Hills” eco-centre. The eco-centre was opened by the Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin in January 2011. It is located on the specially protected natural territory of Moscow - the “Vorobyovy Hills” reserve (1 Andreevskaya Embankment).
This is a unique educational and gaming space which allows to increase ecological awareness of children and youth, supplying the visitors with information about the natural and cultural heritage of the Vorobyovy Hills, Moscow ecology, basic planetary environmental problems and the ways to solve them. The exposition of the ecological centre designed for children of primary and secondary school age is based on the interactivity principle: it is not only possible, but also necessary to touch the exhibits with hands.
