French actor Pierre Rishar has refused to perform in Crimea. This was reported by TASS with a link to the Minister of Culture of the republic Arina Novoselskaya. It is stated that the comedy called “Pierre Richard III” was to take place on the 10th-11th of February. “I was told about it today. The contract was signed – and I can honestly say that I’m willing to hand it over to the journalists.
It seems that some kind of circumstances have influenced his decision” – the minister said. The organizers of the play mentioned that this decision could have been influenced by the Ukrainian authorities who may have put the actor under pressure.
