The Russian vice Prime Minister Arkady Dvorkovich has reported that the petrol prices are expected to increase in 2016. The cost of petrol will increase according to inflation, said TASS on the 23rd of January.
“We hope that these will not be 2 digit numbers. We hope for less. In other words we think that the increase will be less than 10%”, - Interfax quotes the official.
On the 21st of January the Department of economic and social issues of UN published a report where the estimated inflation in Russia for 2016 makes 10.5% but in 2017 it will drop to 7.1%. Yet according to the head of Macroeconomic research center of Sberbank Yulia Tseplyaeva the annual inflation will be around 8.5%. This is a result of negative economic influence which leads to the attenuation of ruble.
