Yury Bykov Replaced with Another Film Director to Complete Time of the First

The feature film Time of the First about the space exploration will be directed by Dmitry Kiselev instead of Yury Bykov.

The would-be breakthrough film stars Yevgeny Mironov and Konstantin Khabensky.

“In the course of preparation for space episodes me with Yury Bykov and Yevgeny Mironov have come to a mutual decision to engage in them another film director, who specializes in action movies. It will be Dmitry Kiselyov, who has rich experience in extremely topical cinema: from The Night Watch to the Hollywood project Especially Dangerous. So far we have shot about two thirds of the Time of the First and Dmitry Kiselyov will be in charge of shooting “grand-scale and sophisticated space episodes” - the film producer Timur Bekmambetov explained.
