The Emergencies Ministry for Altai Republic warns the drivers of small vessels about the danger of navigation on the Teletskoye Lake. 

Due to the large rise in the water level a lot of trash got washed away into the lake. Logs, driftwood, boards, branches, and other dangerous objects are floating in the water. In some places of the lake the trash forms large fields of floating debris. All this creates a threat for the movement of small vessels. 

The most part of trash is concentrated in the southern part of the lake. The State Inspection for Small Vessels of the Emergencies Ministry of Russia for the Republic of Altai recommends the drivers of small vessels not to go sailing through the southern part of the Teletskoye Lake without need and to be extremely careful while driving around the lake, as well as to constantly monitor the surrounding environment.
