Russias Most Powerful Collider Put into Operation in Novosibirsk

The first stage of a new collider has been launched in Novosibirsk.

      The new collider set at the Nuclear Physics Institute has released the first electron beams and taken Novosibirsk science to the new research level in astrophysics and science of materials.

      Now the volume of new scientific information and the speed of receiving it through colliders will increase enormously at the Nuclear Physics Institute. This collider set is the most powerful one in this country. The Federal Agency of Scientific Organizations has already included these colliders at the Nuclear Physics Institute into the register of unique infrastructure objects the Science Academy.
