The Ostankino District Prosecutor’s Office is checking the “Dozhd” TV channel for extremism. The message about the check was published by the General Director of the TV channel Natalia Sindeeva on her Facebook page on Monday, December 7 channel.

The notification of the Prosecutor’s Office presented by Sindeeva said that the check was conducted “on the basis of complaints of citizens”.       The Chairman of the “Rodina” party, the State Duma deputy Aleksei Zhuravlev requested the Prosecutor General’s Office to check “Dozhd” for extremism in September. He claimed that his office received complaints on the content of the channel’s programs.
