The opening of an ice town of Troitsk (Chelyabinsk Oblast) will be marked by a costume parade and competitions of fairy-tale characters, as the press service of the administration of the municipality reported. A New Year’s tree has already appeared at the main square of the town.

      On behalf of the Mayor the opening of the New Year’s town will be held on December 15. For the second year in a row the main tree of the town is lit so early. “The residents of the town and its visitors should feel the atmosphere of celebration already on its eve” - Aleksandr Vinogradov noted. Last year the central square was decorated with a modern LED New Year’s tree that was 14 meters high. This year a New Year’s tree of this kind will also appear in the village of Energetikov.
