MTS Company has prepared its own mobile application “MTS Connect” for calls via the Internet, it is positioned as an alternative to such messengers as Skype and Viber.

      The application is compatible with smartphones based on iOS and Android and is available from December 14.

      The Moscow subscribers of the operator will be the first users of the service. The geography of the service will be expanded further to other regions of the country. The tariffs for the calls of “MTS Connect” will be implemented in accordance with the tariff plan of the subscriber. Roaming calls running in Wi-Fi networks will be charged at a price for the domestic region. Mobile application traffic (except file transfer) is not charged. The application uses a subscriber’s mobile number for identification.
