Freezing Of the Funded Part Of Pensions

The State Duma adopted the governmental law on the freezing of the funded part of pensions of the Russians in 2016 in the final third reading. This was reported by RIA “Novosti” on Friday, December 4.

      The savings of citizens will allow to increase the revenue part of the budget by 342.2 billion roubles. Thus, in next year the individual part of the insurance premium rate in the amount of six percent from the salary of every citizen will be fully used to finance the insurance pension.

      The law was adopted within the framework of the approval of the federal budget for 2016. The deputies approved the following parameters of treasury: revenues in the amount of 13.74 trillion roubles, expenses - 16.10 trillion roubles, deficit - 2.36 trillion roubles (3 percent of GDP). The budget was made on the basis of the assumption that the inflation would amount to 6.4 percent (in December 2016).
