Tourist double-deckers with electric motors can start running through the streets of Moscow in the next year. This was announced by Head of the Department of National Policy, Inter-Regional Relations and Tourism Vladimir Chernikov.

      According to him, the eco-friendly buses with electric motors will appear in the capital not until next year and will carry tourists through the historical centre of the capital.

      “These will be tourist double-deckers. They are already available in Europe, but we expect that they should appear in Moscow soon” – Chernikov noted. The city authorities are currently negotiating with the manufacturer concerning the supply of the eco-buses to the capital.
