The US are ready to invite Russia to the international coalition against the terrorist group "Islamic State" (IG). However, they believe that Moscow is not yet ready to join. This was announced by the White House spokesman Josh Ernest, as TASS reports. He added that Russia should not expect easing of sanctions in response to the fight against the IG.
Ernest noted that Moscow has all the necessary resources, which could help in the fight against the IG.
Ernest stressed that the agreement between Russia and other countries on the fight against the terrorist group will not be able to undermine the ruling coalition. He noted that "the United States played a leading role in the alliance - both militarily and financially".
