The President of Russia Vladimir Putin signed a decree on the establishment of an interdepartmental commission on combating the financing of terrorism, as RIA “Novosti” reported.

      The President also recommended that the Prosecutor’s Office, the Central Bank and the regions should send the materials on the persons involved in terrorism to the Commission. The Commission has the right to take decisions on freezing (blocking) of cash or other property belonging to organizations or physical persons. The Commission has the right to allocate monthly humanitarian allowance to physical persons in relation to whom such measures are taken.
