The State Duma adopted the bill allowing to deprive a person of the rights for driving cars and other vehicles for the non-payment of alimony and driving regulation penalties in the third and final reading on Tuesday, November 17.

      The basis for the deprivation of rights will be a debt in the amount exceeding 10 thousand roubles. The restrictions will apply, in particular, to driving cars, aircrafts and vessels, motorcycles, mopeds and ATVs. Exceptions will be made for disabled persons, as well as for those who make their bread by driving a car or have a car as the only opportunity to get out from the place of residence. The seized licenses will be stored in the department of court enforcement officers. Once the debt is repaid, the license will be returned.
